I’m Dr. Aliya Webermann, PhD, a Yale-trained Connecticut-based licensed clinical psychologist authorized by Psycpact to practice telepsychology across 42 states. My approach combines clinical rigor with genuine human connection. I believe effective therapy should feel both supportive and purposeful—helping you understand what’s happening and giving you the tools to move forward. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, survivors of childhood and adult abuse, students, and veterans.
I have a decade of experience using gold-standard, evidence-based cognitive and behavioral-based therapies to treat the impacts of trauma, severe stress, and anxiety. This includes therapies such as Prolonged Exposure (PE), EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I utilize a multicultural identity-informed approach.
