About
If your child is suffering from anxiety or OCD it can be scary and exhausting. You may find yourself worrying about their future while also just trying to just survive the day. You might have been hoping they would grow out of it, but you see their lives growing smaller. Anxiety and OCD makes unreasonable demands of your child and family, whether it is out of control worrying, a hard time separating, constant reassurance, perfectionism, intrusive thoughts, rituals or compulsions, or any number of problems. It demands certainty, hates the unknown and the uncomfortable. You want relief for your child and family.
I’m here to help you and your child learn what anxiety and OCD is - what's happening in the brain and in the body. We learn what makes it grow and what helps it diminish. Anxiety and OCD are very treatable - there is hope and we will work together to create a treatment that works to empower you and your child.
While I specialize in children I also love working with teens and adults and have been working in the social services field since 1998. I am trained in a variety of treatment methods including - ERP, Team CBT, EMDR, the Flash Technique, attachment theory and neuroscience, and I am trauma informed. If you're ready to work I'm ready to work with you.
