Hello! I work with individual adults 18+ and seniors 65+. When getting to know new clients, it's important to me to show curiosity, empathy and positive regard. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy and I work hard to make my clients feel seen and understood. I also offer EMDR for assistance in processing traumatic memories and experiences. My favorite interventions include mindfulness and self-compassion exercises along with the development of clear communication skills. My goal is for you to feel less alone with your struggles and to experience relief from your symptoms.
My areas of specialization include childhood trauma, church hurt and queer issues. I also have experience working with loss, grief and life transitions. I'm a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and offer an inclusive, safe and accepting space. My practice is sex-positive, gender-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming and anti-racist.
