Greetings, my name is Alissa and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in Florida with over 7 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a diverse range of concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, incarceration, mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic diagnoses, and ADHD. I have facilitated therapy with many clients who have experienced physical and/or emotional trauma and abuse.
My counseling style is warm, interactive, and client focused. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion, I don't I believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, solutions focused counseling, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed care.
