I enjoy working with adults and older teens (ages 16 and up). You come to therapy with a variety of goals and dreams, and with problems and blocks. I am skilled in prioritizing these, identifying which tools work best for you in your situation, and coming up with a plan to address them with you thoughtfully. Sometimes we will work "in the now" to explore how you are experiencing life in order to make changes. Sometimes we will dip into the past to acknowledge the roots of current patterns in order to have resolution and peace. I can recommend exercises or other tools you can use outside the sessions.
I incorporate elements from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Neuro-Emotional Technique. My approach combines traditional therapy with complimentary tools, bringing an energetic and spiritual aspect to therapy.
Whether you are in the midst of change or are diagnosed with a psychiatric condition, I look forward to talking with you. I honor what you want from therapy.
