I’ve also been in therapy myself on & off for over 20 years & experienced the life-changing benefits firsthand. I understand what it’s like to question your identity & self-worth. Like you, I'd developed survival skills that at one point seemed to help protect me & navigate the world. But over time it became clear they were holding me back, getting in my way, & harming me.
