Hi, I am Alison Silver. I have a Master of Science degree in Counseling with a dual concentration in Chemical Dependence and Bereavement. I currently hold the ACS (Approved Clinical Supervisor), NCC (National Certified Counselor), CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional), CCTMH (Certified Clinical Tele-mental Health Provider), Master CASAC (Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), and the LMHC-DP (Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Diagnostic Privilege).
I have accrued almost 3 decades of experience in the field of mental health and extensive additional experience in the field of addiction. I practice from a person-centered perspective along with making use of CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused, and Motivational Interviewing. I am Gottman certified to aide in my work with couples counseling.
