When you've experienced trauma you can feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. We can build ways to not experience the pain that sometimes keep us further from where we'd like to be in life. This can look like: self medicating, focusing on achievements to quite the part of us that says we "aren't enough", people pleasing, withdrawing from relationships, the need to be continuously busy, self criticism, difficulty with intimacy, hyper-independence, food or body image difficulties, or never feeling fulfilled or much at all, ect. At times, this can feel like you aren't able to be present in your own life.
I specialize in trauma therapy using heart centered, relational, decolonized, anti-racist, and LGBTQ+ affirming approaches. Utilizing EMDR, IFS, DBT, and somatic healing approaches including 5NP acupuncture to support deep, integrative transformation. I bring a sex/kink-positive, HASE, body-liberation lens.
It's my absolute honor to walk along side folks relearning ways to be fully present and show up as their most authentic self, without pushing parts of themself aside.
