I aspire to bring my authentic self to each session, and I do not pretend to be a “blank slate.” Sessions with my clients are not about me, but I do not pretend to be a person without real-life experience to meet therapeutic norms.

We exist within the context of a complex world, and the personal IS political. You deserve to know if your therapist supports your right to existence. I believe in reproductive rights, the rights of women, trans people, immigrants, people of color, and I believe the oppression of those groups impacts us all on a deep level.
I use a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Feminist Theory to help clients find ways to cope with their emotions and experiences, and identify the values that would help them live the life that they truly want to live. I love to help clients find practical solutions to their daily problems.
