Alison is a licensed marriage and family therapist who treats individuals, couples and families ages 14 and older. She has extensive experience working with individuals with relational problems, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, separation/launching difficulties, eating issues and self-harming behaviors. Alison worked at The Renfrew Center for several years treating adolescent and adult females diagnosed with anorexia, bulimia and compulsive overeating. Alison earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Temple University. Her graduate training was completed at MCP Hahnemann University where she earned her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Alison works from a systemic approach and considers all aspects of an individuals life and context when assessing their issues and tailoring her interventions. It is critical to her therapy sessions are a safe space for an individual or individuals to discover themselves and feel understood.
