I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy; which, essentially, means that I attend to the cause and not just the symptom. You do your best to say whatever comes to mind and I do the rest! I work in the areas of depression, anxiety, identity or stage-of-life issues, illness, loss, difficulty trusting your decisions, fluctuating self-esteem, career, and relationship struggles (with family, friends, or significant others).
First and foremost, I value compassion for all living beings, and I would never ask someone to be something they are not. In addition to being a general practitioner, I also offer specialized treatment to the LGBTQIA+ community and pet bereavement services. Pets are part of our families and should be treated as such.
