I see adults, ages 18 and up, who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and other mental health struggles. I specialize in people who are going through major transitions in life, including those moving to/from living in another country. Debriefing is one of my favorite things! Using talk therapy, DBT, and solution-focused therapy, we will walk through your struggles together and seek to set and meet goals that will help you in life. I long to show unconditional positive regard to my clients, and seek to set up a safe space for them, leaning on Jesus Christ as my foundation and strength!
I hope to create a safe space for my clients to express themselves without fear of judgement. I recognize that a strong therapeutic relationship is the most powerful tool I have, and want to emulate Jesus Christ in how he met people where they were, offering love and compassion, while holding the truth of Scripture as the basis for all he did.
My counseling approach is grounded in person-centered and strengths-based theories, and is centered on Jesus Christ. I use DBT methods to help my clients identify destructive thought patterns, and seek to help them replace those thoughts with beneficial ones that empower them to take the next steps. I would love to walk with you on your journey of healing.
