I am honored to have been working in this field for 10+ years. For the last few years I have worked in family systems, reunification and with the family law system. I am a member of the AFCC and am an AFCC informed therapist. I am currently taking custody evaluation cases and am mentoring with Dr. Carol Gage PHD. I have experience with and have helped many people that have been in crisis, suicidal, suffer from trauma, have been involved in corrections or the prison system, foster care, involvement with DCFS, and those struggling with personality disorders. I have additional experience in substance use and addiction treatment.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Utah and Masters Degree in Counseling/Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix. I went on to specialize and receive a certificate from the University of Utah Addictions Program in Addictions Counseling. I have a background working with children & teens both inpatient & outpatient.
I enjoy working with people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences having the privilege to help each person heal in their way. Working in this field inspires me daily and I see so many individuals and families heal after feeling lost or unsure. I will provide support, coping tools, a safe place and the therapy intervention needed in your journey.
