Entering into therapy, whether it be for yourself or your child, is a process in uncovering the self and true identity. Grief, loss, trauma, various life transitions and challenges can shake our sense of self. The creative process is intrinsically healing and offers a safe space to sort through various emotions, and reorganize your brain & thoughts. Children and teens need creative space and play outside of their structured days. Within my art studio/office, I offer ceramics, painting, collage, drawing, fiber arts, sculpture and art with recyclables. I also work with adults in their creative process to unlock blocks.
Other offerings include: art therapy supervision, guidance for professionals, creativity workshops, and small group offerings.
For children and teens and along with parents/guardians, I work closely with teachers, doctors, and guidance counselors. Sometimes there is a need for an assessment, and the art process can offer some answers. Please contact me for a consult.
