My clients often know there's something not quite right but aren't sure where to start. I especially enjoy working with people who are trying balance work and managing chronic illnesses, fellow social services employees, teachers, medical professionals, and LGBTQ+ clients. I focus on helping you find a sense of safety and calm, so you can see your way clearly. I use a variety of skills and modalities, including CBT, DBT, IFS, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. Clients tell me that I help them understand themselves, set boundaries, and connect more deeply to loved ones.

I really enjoy using DBT skills in sessions, they give people tools to feel better immediately. I use a lot of IFS and Emotion Focused Individual Therapy principles, which helps people gain deep understanding of themselves and heal relational trauma. If someone has had traumatic experiences EMDR is great to resolve trauma quickly.
