My work centers around helping clients accept the uncomfortable and uncontrollable parts of life and take the power back from difficult internal experiences by achieving a sense of confidence in their ability to cope. I have particular specialties using research-based practices to work with adolescents and adults struggling with Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. In addition to those specialties, I support clients through a wide range of challenges, including trauma, depression, stress management, relationship concerns, developing confidence and self-compassion, life transitions, and career and academic stress.
My approach to treatment is rooted in my passion for evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) — all of which use behavioral, emotion-focused, and cognitive methods.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I bring authenticity, empathy, and humor into my work with clients. I strive to break down the traditional power dynamics that have long existed in therapy settings. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to grow, heal, and move toward your goals.
