I enjoy working with adults from across the lifespan who are coping with a specific life event or transition, as well as those who are struggling with more long term issues. My practice is broad based and addresses a wide range of presenting issues such as: depression, anxiety, relationships, self esteem, and grief and loss. I use a holistic, strengths based perspective and recognize that a wide range of past and present influences effect both our individual well being and our relationships.
With a collaborative, kind and practical approach I offer a safe place to explore the muddy waters of life and if necessary, explore the patterns and obstacles that can make us feel stuck. I offer guidance for better coping and balance, as well as encouragement in exploring and making desired changes to live a healthier and more meaningful life.
I've lived on both coasts of the US, and have been privileged to work with people from all walks of life in a variety of settings. I have two children, enjoy good books, good cooking, meeting new people and the four seasons. I'm also a certified yoga instructor.
