Are you a professional trying to stop or control your substance use? I’m a relatable addiction and relationships specialist with offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I know the high-stakes pressures you face. I understand the challenges of trying to imagine effective networking without drinking. But I offer winning options to improve your relationships, marriage, family, and to excel even more at your job. I share with you tried-and-true ways to have more control and protect your reputation. If you’re ready to take courageous action, my unique, turning point approach really works and will help get you back on track.

Together, we assess how your using affects your life, career, and relationships. With warmth, non-judgement, discretion, and expertise, I've been there myself and I can guide you (in-person or Via Skype) to get clear about your situation. You decide the extent of the problem, and which changes you want to make.

I’ve taught recovery and relapse prevention at Manhattan’s top treatment facilities. My convenient Chelsea office is 3 blocks from Union Square. I also see clients in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Many also join my support group, designed especially to resolve substance-use related relationship/marriage and family issues.

Alison Bulman's Groups

Emotional Sobriety Support Group

This is a weekly group for people in recovery to develop their emotional sobriety. The group will expand your emotional literacy and availability. You’ll build skills for more self-awareness, spontaneous authentic expression, and learn to resolve feelings of isolation. We also focus on healthy relationships – what they look like, and how to find and maintain those that are platonic, romantic, in your family, and at work. If you feel ready to delve into this next level of your recovery with the warmth and guidance of a structured support group to help you thrive, private message me to see if it’s a fit!
