I am a New York State-licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. I am the Founder and Director of Dr. Alison Bellevue Psychology PLLC, a small group private practice serving New York City and the surrounding areas. I have extensive experience providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to clients across the lifespan. My goal as a therapist is to create a trusted and collaborative relationship in which I am able to most effectively teach you skills to manage your emotional distress and reduce problematic behaviors.
My special areas of interest and expertise include, but are not limited to, treating children and adolescents; parenting interventions for parents of children with elevated anxiety, disruptive behaviors, and /or self-harm/suicidal ideation; anxiety disorders across the lifespan; and collaboration with and consultation to schools
