Great to meet you! I'm Alisha! I have received my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Baypath University and currently have my LMHC and LPC license in MA and CT. I have worked in community mental health for the past three years with children, teens and adults, providing counseling services utilizing evidenced based approaches including, CBT, SFBT, and person-centered therapeutic approaches. I am currently pursuing EMDR certification.
I draw from evidence-based modalities including CBT, person-centered, and will be adding EMDR once I am fully certified. Together we will explore how past experiences, current stressors, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors may be impacting your well-being while developing insight, strengthen coping skills, process difficult experiences, and build resilience.
I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I strive to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgement-free environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.
