I strongly believe that everyone has the right to have a place where they feel safe, unjudged, and themselves, and can trust the person they are sharing their heaviest and most personal issues with, and if that is anywhere, it should be in the therapy space. While I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, my approach to therapy is all about the individual. I tailor treatment to each individual, pulling from all the modalities as needed to make sure I am using what works best for each person and playing to their strengths to help them heal and cope with all aspects of life in a healthier way.
I typically work with young adults and adults, though I have experience with all ages, from 4-96. My specialties are trauma and anxiety, though I also work with various other diagnoses. I also take a hybrid approach between medical and holistic methods as I believe both have their place.
A welcoming, accepting, comfortable, open atmosphere. The therapeutic relationship strongly determines the success of therapy, more than any else. My focus is to develop this early as it also determines whether they return.
