Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (LMFT 101555). I specialize in working with adults, adolescents and children experiencing depression, sadness, worry, social anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions and low self-esteem. I studied at Santa Clara University, where I earned a master's degree in counseling psychology. Prior to that, I received a bachelor's degree from San Jose State University with a double major in psychology and behavioral science.
Through education and training, I discovered the effectiveness that CBT has in helping people create major positive changes in their lives. I actively attend workshops, conferences and weekly advanced trainings at Stanford, which are led by David Burns, who developed TEAM-CBT, a short-term effective framework for therapy.
I have over 4 years of experience working with individuals who have a dual diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder and another mental health diagnosis such as depression or anxiety. I am passionate about providing high quality therapy and strive to create a caring, nonjudgmental, positive environment for my clients.
