Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, LMFT
Do you feel sad, depressed, or unsatisfied with your life? Do you suffer from panic attacks that are preventing you from living your life to its fullest? Are you struggling with stress, anxiety, or worry? If these struggles sounds familiar, you're in the right place. My goal is to help you increase healthy coping skills and positive emotions while learning how to challenge and defeat unwanted thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I specialize in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, depression, OCD, panic disorder, and other anxiety and depression-related problems in children, teens, and adults.
Through education and training, I discovered the effectiveness that CBT has in helping people create major positive changes in their lives. I actively attend workshops, conferences and weekly advanced trainings at Stanford, which are led by David Burns, who developed TEAM-CBT, a short-term effective framework for therapy.
I also specialize in working with individuals who have a dual diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder and another mental health diagnosis such as depression or anxiety. I am passionate about providing high quality therapy and strive to create a caring, nonjudgmental, positive environment for my clients.
