Hi! My name is Alisa Swenson, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am generally laid back in my approach and want our work together to be conversational and focused on what you see your goals as being instead of what I think that they should be. Therapy should be collaborative, and I appreciate feedback on whether you think something is working or not. I have a lot of experiences with children, teens, and adults and focus mostly on depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and parenting/family issues.

I love to work with children and their families. I have worked for the last five years with children in dealing with mood disorders, impulsivity control difficulties, and trauma. I also have experience with transitional age youth, parenting, and family/life stage challenges.

I have learned through experiences in my life just how impactful struggles in connecting with others and dealing with mental health on your own can be. I believe that each individual has something to offer and deserves to have someone to walk through struggles with them. I want others to find their worth and understand their value.
