Hello! My name is Alisa Santucci and I am a Licensed Clinical Individual, Marital and Family Therapist (LCMFT) based in Maryland and work with clients statewide in telehealth. My approach to therapy is strength-based and solution-focused. I most commonly use the theoretical approaches of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the Gottman Method for relationship and attachment skill building, and trauma-informed mindfulness strategies.
I work with individuals, couples, families, young adults, and college students in areas such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss. I help couples face the challenges that arise from relationships such as strengthening communication and building trust.
My communication style is authentic, fostering trust in my interactions and approaching conversations free from judgement to create a safe space for expression of thoughts and feelings. I am positive and focused on uplifting and encouraging even in challenging situations.
