While anxiety is an important emotion that can protect us, it can also become an overwhelming presence that may lead to significant distress and interference. You may find that your anxiety prevents you from doing the things you want to do - achieving your goals, enjoying your relationships, and succeeding in school or at work. In an attempt to cope with and decrease anxiety, you likely find that it actually grows over time. Through a supportive and collaborative environment, I would like to help you develop the evidence-based skills needed to change your relationship with anxiety and empower you to gain back control of your life.
I am a Licensed Psychologist and have years of specialized experience in OCD, Anxiety, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, and Tourette's Syndrome. I provide treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Habit Reversal Training, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also have experience providing clinical supervision.
I approach treatment with compassion, empathy, and curiosity. I believe that therapy is a partnership and I work closely and collaboratively with you to identify your individual goals and needs. I enjoy empowering and guiding my clients to move toward the progress that feels meaningful to them and make changes that are fueled by their values.
