By the time many clients arrive at therapy, life has been exhausting for a while. Whether one is a therapy first-timer or an experienced client, my desire as a therapist is to foster an empowering space where clients feel comfortable exploring and unpacking the often heavy loads that they are carrying. My passion is for developing insight, knowledge, and skills that inform clients’ ability to create a more meaningful, healthy, and authentic life. I practice from a Dialectical Behavior Therapy lens, but incorporate Narrative Therapy and techniques from other modalities in order to best support clients’ diverse needs and backgrounds.
I have experience working with individuals in an outpatient setting as well as inpatient Psychiatric and Intensive Outpatient settings. As such, I work with a variety of people in different phases of life/healing with different counseling needs and firmly believe that at some point in each person's life, therapy would be beneficial.
