About
It is courageous to work towards healthier and more joyful connections with self and others. It is possible to thrive even while managing personal or relationship trauma, loss, stress, and difficult transition in life. I provide support for you while you increase capacity to heal, support yourself, and co-create resilient safe relationships with loved ones. My role as a therapist is to protect a safe environment for your work, to co-create relationship built on a bond of trust, authenticity and security, to provide empathy and be assertively challenging.
I work with an anti-oppression lens and support all ethnicities, incomes, gender identities, abilities, spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, and family make-ups (i.e blended, foster, adoptive, biological, LGBTQQ, monogamous, and polyamorous). I incorporate Gestalt and attachment therapies, systems perspectives, and PACT couple's therapy to reduce the neurobiological impact of stress and trauma.
I provide services to children, teens, adults, couples and families with issues relating to trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, life changes, parenting, and societal stressors. I write gender confirmation letters and am happy to be on your gender transition team. Together we can create a strong therapeutic relationship to support your resilience in life.
