As a therapist, I empower my clients and help them build a stronger sense of compassion for themselves. My approach focuses on the context people are from as well as the context they are in now to gain a better understanding of who they are as a person.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of needs and have experience in several different settings including a residential treatment center; a school for kids with autism; and a psychiatric rehabilitation service for those with severe and chronic mental illness.
I tell everyone before they meet with me: I dress very casually, I have tattoos, and my hair is always an unnatural color. I don't ever want you to feel like you have to dress up for me; I invite you to show up exactly as you are.
