I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialty in mental health diagnosing. I have 10 years of experience working with teens and adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and crisis situations. I also have over 8 years of experience working in acute facilities assessing those with mental health and/or substance abuse concerns and recommending appropriate levels of care.
Experiencing trauma at many different eras in my life has given me the tools to relate to others and provide an empathetic ear. Sometimes we just need to feel heard. Other times we need tools. I have a background in Trauma Therapy, CBT, Certification in DBT, Certification in Grief Therapy, Sex Therapy, and will be adding EMDR within the next few months.
