Hello there! I’m Alicia. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, but you might also call me a compassionate guide and mind-body connector. I help women, men, and non-binary individuals, couples, and triad clients who long for a supportive space to heal what has been hurt and create an environment to thrive through meaningful connection. My clients may feel stuck in patterns and would like to develop more meaningful relationships. Or maybe they are struggling to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or those of a loved one. Or perhaps they are beginning to process trauma.
I support each client by mindfully being aware of their cultural context while deeply listening to their individual experiences. I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help my clients understand and deeply witness their internal world. I also lean on yogic philosophy and mindfulness in navigating the connection of the mind-body.
There are continuous fluctuations, life circumstances, and barriers to feeling whole and well. I hope you will join me in practicing of emotional balance, cognitive flexibility, and self-compassion to flow with our ever-changing environment. I look forward to practicing with you!
