Hello! My name is Alicia Luke, LCSW. I am so happy you are here! I honestly feel that "the greatest gift you can give someone is the space to be their most authentic self” - Ralph Waldo Emerson, and I feel that therapy can allow for this to happen if you accept and allow it. I utilize therapy interventions based on an individual's needs and presenting concerns, meeting you where you are at in your life. I believe it is important to understand one's environment and how a person perceives and interacts within it. My intent is to create a safe space for each client to feel heard, supported, and validated.
I have experience will all age groups and prefer age groups of 14+. I am experienced within the areas of anxiety, bereavement, case management support, crisis intervention, grief, trauma and depression. I am EMDR Trained as well.
I am licensed in PA and Maine. I just opened my own therapy practice, Bluebird Counseling of Western Pennsylvania. Prior to opening my own practice I have many years of experience within outpatient, hospital and community settings. Please reach out if you have any questions or wish to schedule!
