Welcome! I provide culturally affirming and trauma-informed Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, an evidence-based approach that can effectively and gently support a wide range of therapeutic needs. This includes complex and relational trauma, emotional distress such as anxiety and depression, and life changes/transitions. Through this work, it is possible to heal from emotional injuries, release burdens and beliefs about yourself that you carry as a result of painful experiences, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others. How might these wounded parts of you show up in your daily life?
Maybe you've noticed internal critics, overwhelm, patterns of people-pleasing, reactivity, numbing—or else feeling that you are either too much or not enough. With gentle curiosity, I will guide you in getting to know the many resourceful, dedicated, fierce, and vulnerable parts of you—and learn how to access the core qualities of a healing Self within.
My approach is tailored to your unique circumstances and individual needs, that trusts and honors your own pacing and goals for therapy. All backgrounds, experiences, cultural identities, and parts of you are welcome. Sometimes the first step is the hardest one to take. I would love to meet you!
