Emotional pain and suffering is universal and an emotion that we can all relate to. It often produces anxiety, stress, frustration and many other emotions. It is how we cope with it than can make a difference in how we feel, act, behave, and experience the situation.
Often times, we fall back on maladaptive coping skills, including restriction of food intake and emotional eating. I work with individuals suffering from mental health issues and eating disorders.
I believe recovery is possible and with support, perspectives can shift and new discoveries can be made. I am honored to support you on your journey to recovery.
I am a trained in multiple modalities including CBT and DBT, harm reduction, strengths based approach. I have experience working in treating both eating disorders and mental health issues and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
I work from a strengths based approach and believe that a good working relationship consists of building trust. Each of us has our strengths and I am here to help you discover it. If you are struggling, please reach out. You are not alone and recovery is possible. Together we can work towards your goals and I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
