Hi there, I'm Alicia! I would like to welcome you to your new journey! I know that it can be very scary to start therapy, but I am here to provide a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment for you. I am here to listen without judgment and support you in any way I can along the way. When you are ready, please reach out to get started. I choose the approach that I use based on my client's needs. I want to meet my clients where they are at and provide the best approach that will assist them in reaching the goals that they have set for themselves. Some of the approaches that I use are CBT, solution-focused, client-centered, etc.
I believe that becoming a partners and learning to collaborate with my clients is key to being successful in therapy. Together, we can identify goals and adjust goals and priorities as needed. We can adapt and adjust to new goals, new priorities, and adjust to changes as they appear throughout the therapeutic process.
I am an open and honest communicator who provides open and non-judgmental listening. I will listen and support my client, but also be direct with them and allow them to reflect on their experiences and the changes that they would like to make in their lives.
