My passion is supporting both child/adolescent and adult victims of trauma heal emotionally and be free of invisible scars that are holding them back from leading their best life. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental safe place for adults with unresolved trauma, past or present, to collaboratively work through issues and learn to process thoughts in healthier more adaptive ways. I also have positive experience in supporting life transitions, caregiver support, coparenting blended families, family conflict and chronic/terminal illness.
WellPower is a small private practice offering a warm comfortable living room setting that helps clients feel more at home making it easier to open up about the hard stuff that is causing problems in your life. We also have a special room full of toys and craft supplies to help children express themselves as we engage in play therapy.
I went to UNC Chapel Hill and USC, and have specialized training in numerous evidenced-based psychotherapy models. The goal in this journey is to improve your life by helping you feel better and more empowered. Together we can explore ways to improve your life by tailoring a unique approach for you or your loved one! I take a very client centered approach.
