Throughout my time as a therapist, what I have admired most about working with clients has been their resilience and tenacity. I’ve learned a lot from my clients and continue to be amazed by their ongoing growth and self-awareness when faced with adversity. I work from a strengths based perspective, in which I see myself as an agent of change to promote and facilitate emotional healing. I’ve worked in various community settings and have served children, adolescents, adults and families. It would be my pleasure to support you, your child/adolescent or family in discovering and working towards emotional healing.
During a service learning trip to Ghana, Africa I came across this quote, “Hye Won Hye”, which means, that which cannot burn. This quote helped me understand that we all have the ability to overcome obstacles and adversity and to literally walk through the fire and come out with a “resilient mind."Depression, anxiety, grief, loss, and trauma are some of the
challenges that may leave you feeling overwhelmed and incapable.I am ready to walk with you on this journey of emotional healing and support you, your adolescent or family through the challenges you may be facing.
