Relationship conflict can feel frustrating and hopeless. I help individuals stop having the same argument and avoid repeating negative patterns. In my practice I work with individuals, couples, and families needing crisis support to address conflict, rebuild trust, and gain tools for improving communication and connection. Specifically, I work with people who are experiencing life transitions, experiencing loss or grieving, struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and relationship wounds.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, an evidenced-based therapy that can effectively engender growth within a person and between other people. I am also a Certified Recovery Specialist, coaching individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders toward healthy relationships and wellness. Trauma-informed and EMDR trained.
My approach to therapy is relational. I partner with you to explore areas of your life that seem to be stuck. In a safe, judgment-free, confidential space, I provide support for each person, in every step of the counseling process. Together, we work to resolve what is keep you from moving forward in your life and in your relationships.
