My typical client is a child or young adult who is struggling in school. My job is to determine why he or she is struggling and to prescribe solutions. To do this I must have a full picture of the individual's strengths and areas of need. I also see adults and seniors. I have many years of experience of assisting people of a wide variety of ages and assist parents through the school system and through their lives. A clinical neuropsychologist is trained to examine all areas that might impact an individual in their daily life functioning. I have expertise in assessing learning disabilities, ADHD, and the impact of head injuries. A thorough assessment can determinethe unique needs so an accommodation or treatment plan can be developed.
I am a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist (American Board of Professional Neuropsychology). I have many years of experience working in the schools as well as in private practice. I am licensed as a psychologist but also as a marriage, family, child counselor and as an educational psychologist. I enjoy working with a wide spectrum of individuals.
