We all have obstacles in our lives. It is normal to feel stress or concern when we are facing uncertainty. I recognize how challenging it may be to ask for help outside of ourselves and I appreciate all those who reach out for support - whether it be in gaining a stronger sense of identity, a better understanding of themselves, or in collaboratively working through various reasons for seeking mental health services. I believe that every individual holds value and that their experiences and feelings in life are both significant and valid. Everyone deserves an open space to unpack their mind and move through their challenges.
I have my Master's degree in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. I am a clinician working under the supervision of Dr. Katherine Cornell. I have worked on research projects focused on adaptations to family transitions and parental re-partnering after divorce and its impact on the parent-child relationship.
I am interested in being there for my clients during times of distress and in developing skills to handle these times with less burden and worry. My primary areas of clinical interest are adults who are experiencing difficulties with life transitions, anxiety, relationship and family issues, depression, and grief.
