I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to mental health. Psychotherapy and building a trusting and non-judgmental relationship with my patients is my priority. I am highly skilled in helping patients with depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse and eating disorders. I have specialized in working with the LGBT Community of color through mental health for the last 15 years.
My counseling style is warm, empathic and client-centered. I have worked with patients of all ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, races and cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. I have helped patients by using a broad range of therapies; including, CBT, solutions-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and attachment based therapy.
