A child struggling to effectively express themselves typically resorts to using challenging behaviors to communicate. Tantrums, physical aggression, task refusal, and property destruction are just a few of these behaviors I am experienced in handling. If your goal is to reduce challenging behaviors, develop your child's strengths, and promote language development and effective communication, I am here to help!
I provide families with strategies to use before behaviors occur, de-escalation techniques, and how to respond in the moment to difficult behaviors. I utilize different language development techniques to promote effective communication. I am also a certified provider of the Unyte Integrated Listening Systems "Safe & Sound Protocol" and the "Focus System".
