Life and our relationships with ourselves and others is not always what we imagined or hoped, and sometimes we don’t know how we got here or what to do to get unstuck. Therapy can be a powerful tool to invest in to gain insights and make change. It can be a place to grow, heal, and transform to live a life more in alignment with our desires. As a therapist, my role is to walk beside you (with patience, humor, and compassion) by offering reflection, reframing, inquiry, and validation as you uncover your strengths and truths, clarify your needs, and move toward a life more aligned with your intentions and values.
My approach integrates the mind, body, and emotions. The body holds wisdom and memory, and by incorporating it into our work, we can unlock deeper insights and release stuck patterns. Our work together may include somatic awareness, inner parts work, family of origin, examining social systems, or creating space to know and honor authenticity.
Compassion and curiosity are key in creating change, and I have the capacity to hold that in our space. You don’t need to arrive at therapy with the answers. Together, we’ll slow down, get curious, and follow the threads of your experience with an intention of cultivating more self-understanding, compassion, and connection.
