Having worked in an inpatient behavioral health setting for 15 years, I have encountered a variety of mental health diagnoses which has provided me with an abundance of experience to offer my clients. Although I have worked with all demographic, I specifically enjoy working with older children and adolescents.
If I were to choose my specialities, I believe it would be depression, anxiety and dysfunction in relationship.
It is my desire to create a calm atmosphere but also include techniques to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. At times I use origami, music, books and other therapy items. I also use the program "Prepare-Enrich" when working with couples to better enhance their experience.
