I am currently an LPC-Intern supervised by Aisha Holman, LPC-Supervisor at Holman Family Services. My formal education has prepared me to counsel individuals, adolescents, adults, groups, couples, parents, and families. I am trained in a number of methodologies, the two main ones being Gestalt and CBT. I am a graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education with a focus in Youth Ministry, as well a Master of Arts in Counseling. Conjointly with my experience counseling, my time as a Youth Pastor Intern has given me extra preparation for working with adolescents.
My background has been in adolescent teaching since I began college about six years ago. I have worked in churches, working with the adolescent population. I have also volunteered at at Dallas Life Shelter, where I primarily assisted with and mentored the teenagers there.
