Hi! I'm Alexis, a queer, black, biracial, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher. I support the LGBTQIA+ community, trans and BIPOC community as they explore their identity, healing, body liberation and self-compassion. My approach is client-centered, affirming, and grounded in the therapeutic relationship. I believe the greatest gift of therapy is in the therapeutic connection formed between the client and the therapist and I work to create a welcoming, celebratory and affirming space.
I work with adults, teens and couples and am passionate about working with queer and trans communities, BIPOC communities, as well as walking alongside those on a journey of finding body acceptance, body liberation, and fostering self-compassion.
