I am a licensed forensic psychologist specializing in psycho-legal assessment. I’m trained in the areas of risk assessment, competency to proceed, criminal responsibility, parental capacity and bonding, firearms evaluations, fitness for duty, and sexual recidivism. In addition to my assessment experience, I have completed clinical work related to juveniles within the criminal justice system, as well as adults ordered to participate in anger management, domestic violence, competency restoration, and sex offender treatment.
I have worked in a variety of capacities including forensic psychiatric hospitals, juvenile and adult probation departments, residential treatment facilities, circuit courts, and outpatient mental health centers. My training has led to my testifying in court as an expert witness on many occasions.
In addition to completing forensic evaluations, I also provide assessments to clarify diagnosis, confirm or rule out ADHD, estimate intellectual functioning, provide recommendations for accommodations at school or work, assess parental readiness for adoption, and pre-surgery clearance.
