Hello. I am Alexis, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Virginia. I have over 25 years of experience working with clients of all ages across a wide range of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, outpatient care, in-home, school, and residential settings. Most of my experience has been working with individuals who struggle with grief, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, Autism Spectrum, PTSD, developmental and intellectual disabilities, abuse, trauma, and major life changes.
My approach to therapy is humanistic and combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness, while engaging in a client-centered, collaborative approach.
