Most people arrive knowing something needs to change. Sometimes they can name it exactly. Sometimes it is only a signal that the way things are going is not working. Either one is enough to start.
I work with adults in demanding careers. Media and entertainment, military and politics, professional athletics, law. High-visibility work that leaves little room to be a beginner at anything.
Sessions are educational and forward-looking. We name what keeps happening, build the skill the change takes, and rehearse it against your real week. I am not a licensed therapist or psychologist, and what I offer is not therapy.
One-to-one sessions, practice groups, and courses. The method is three moves. Reflect: see what keeps happening. Learn: build the skill the change takes, in a version that fits your values, your culture, and your actual week. Evolve: practice it where it counts, with support through the stretch where it feels unfamiliar. Free 15-minute intro call.
Athletes watch game film. They sit with a recording of last week and mark what keeps repeating. It is real work and it changes nothing by itself. That is why they still go to practice. If something needs to change and you are ready to work on it, that is what this is. If you want therapy instead, or alongside this, say so and I will share a referral list.

Groups
Mental Health First Aid Certification
Mental Health First Aid is a national, evidence-based course that teaches people to recognize the signs of a mental health or substance use challenge and connect someone to help. Participants complete online self-study, then join a live virtual session with Dr. Alexis, a certified MHFA instructor. The course covers the five-step action plan, how to start the conversation, and where to refer. Participants leave with practical language for crisis and everyday moments. Educational training and certification, not therapy. Dr. Alexis is not a licensed psychologist or therapist and does not diagnose or treat anything.
