As a mental health counselor, I provide compassionate support to people in all phases of life, including adjusting to adolescence/early adulthood, parenthood, career shifts, relationship changes or embracing any new horizon or goal. I offer a safe space to explore distressing topics or areas for growth, while working with clients to build skills and recognize/rework patterns that keep us stuck. Together we'll identify goals to enhance life's joys and reduce its suffering, always honoring the authentic self.
In therapy my job is to meet you where you are and help tap into your unique reservoir of strength to grow and let go of that which no longer serve you. We explore tools/build skills to help manage everyday stressors through psychodynamic therapy that includes various modalities including Cognitive/Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and EMDR.
Holding space for clients to unpack issues causing distress to make room for joy, is the first and most important step in my approach. As a client, you are in the driver's seat; I am here to guide and support your journey toward your best self. I hold a Temporary License and practice under the supervision of Stacy Bliss, LPC.
